Life's Curve Balls

Been a wee bit quiet around the shop lately. We had a health scare three weeks ago and, long story short, I've been busy taking care of my partner, managing the household, walking the dogs, and running my business.

No time for woodworking at all. Hopefully we'll fall into a routine soon and I'll get back to it, but family comes first.

Anyhow, carry on and happy woodworking!

Kari,
Hope your partner gets well real soon. Sure puts life into perspective doesn't it?

Like the man said... we'll be here waiting patiently until your return.
Take Care.

You are both in my thoughts every day. I know how tough it is to be the patient, but I also see the amazing strength that my wife shows in being the caregiver. Take care of Nancy, as I know you are, but please don't neglect to take care of yourself also.
Wishing you both all the best.

Let Nancy know that your extended woodworking family is thinking about her and praying for a complete and speedy recovery. To echo what Jamie said: Remember to take care of yourself during this time, it is easy to become so absorbed in taking care of someone else that you neglect your own health. You can't help her if you get down. Best to both of you,
Brent

I hope everything turns out well for you and your friend. If you can't get to your shop, take a few minutes and enjoy a bowl of ice cream.

Kari, don't forget, everyone still needs a little bit of "me" time, even when they're being the pillar.

Much love to you both.

Sorry to hear of Nancy's set back, I wish her well ASAP!!! And Kari, as others have said you must take time for yourself so you can be there for Nancy. I look forward to your return to the shop and Nancy's return to health.
